Ensino de Língua Portuguesa: o desenvolvimento da competência comunicativa por meio dos gêneros textuais

Abstract

The work reseach aims to demonstrate the contribution of textual genres in the development of communicative competence of learners in the teaching process of the Portuguese Language, as well as to highlight their contributions to a more productive and relevant language teaching. It is a research of a bibliographic nature. The theoretical basis is based on authors such as Travaglia (2009), Bagno (2002), Oliveira (2010), Silva (2009), Lima (2014) Koche (2017), among others that address the issue of Portuguese Language teaching and on the textual genres. Therefore, the present research is divided as follows: in the first section, titled Portuguese Language Teaching, we present some considerations regarding the teaching practices of Portuguese as mother tongue; in the second section, we talk about the some theoretical aspects about the textual genres and about the textual types; in the third section, we discuss some aspects concerning the concept of communicative competence, as well as the implications of this concept as an objective of teaching Portuguese; on wednesday, we discuss the relation between textual genres and the development of communicative competence and their contributions in the teaching of the Portuguese language and, finally, the final considerations.
