O ensino da trigonometria: A aplicação do Software GeoGebra como ferramenta metodológica para ajudar nos déficits no ensino da trigonometria na 3ª serie do Ensino Médio no Centro de Ensino Didácio Santos na cidade de Balsas – MA

Abstract

This present work intends to show the practices developed in a study that refers to the challenges faced by students in the 3rd year of High School regarding the use of trigonometry and its applicability in daily life, using the technological means, as a facilitating element for the learning of these students, through the GeoGebra application, to bring knowledge to students. Therefore, it aimed to verify the learning level of trigonometry in the 3rd year of high school at Escola Centro de Ensino Didácio Santos. To support the project's objective, three actions were specified: Analyze the teaching methodology within the classroom; Discuss the importance of GeoGebra in learning trigonometry; Point out problems with trigonometry in everyday life. For the methodological paths, to satisfy the objectives, Quali-quantitative research was carried out with the realization of questionnaires and observations to obtain data. The classes focused on the teaching of trigonometry with the use of software for the visualization of demonstrations of the Pythagorean theorems and their extension in the trigonometric cycle. After collecting data, an analysis was performed to assess the performance of the project and whether it was successful in its proposal. All collected data were studied and will be presented in graphs and tables throughout the text. With the results collected from the questionnaires, it was possible to identify that the use of the application was of great relevance for learning and understanding the subject addressed in the classroom.
