Do romantismo de Gonçalves Dias à contemporaneidade: uma análise sobre as releituras da poesia canção do exílio

Abstract

This study sought to clarify the intertextuality of reinterpretations of the poem Song of Exile, by Gonçalves Dias. To this end, the theoretical framework used was the studies of Bakhtin, Compagnon, Kristeva, Merquior, Romero, Sant9anna and Smolka; and other scholars to further highlight this research. The study takes into consideration the study of parody, paraphrase and appropriation, as they are essential for working with language, in writing and reading. The choice of this theme was based on the need to investigate the reason for the emergence of new reinterpretations of the poem Song of Exile, and also with the aim of knowing what are the effects of meaning in the intertextual relationship of the poem Song of Exile and its reinterpretations? Therefore, the main objectives were: to understand the meanings generated by reinterpretations of the poem Song of Exile, focusing on the similarities and the different approaches; to analyze the reinterpretations of the Song of Exile; to compare the different forms of writing of the reinterpretations of the poem Song of Exile; and to clarify the intertextuality of reinterpretations of the poem Song of Exile. With this work, it was possible to elucidate these questions, with the following methodological order: bibliographical research, reading and analysis of the poem Song of Exile, by Gonçalves Dias, study of the ten reinterpretations of the Song of Exile, and written development of the research. In view of this, through this work, it was possible to explain the existence and intertextuality of these ten reinterpretations.
