A educação de jovens e adultos em São Luís: uma análise documental sobre a Modalidade no Plano Municipal de Educação e na Proposta Curricular - Marco Conceitual - da Rede Municipal de Ensino

Abstract

The study in this study consisted of an essay, which, in a brief and introductory form, enunciates a documentary analysis on the modality of Basic Education, Youth and Adult Education - EJA in the Municipal Plan of Education (2015) and in the Curricular Proposal - Conceptual Framework (2017) of the educational network of São Luís. This analysis was based on the historical, legal and guiding aspects of national education: Federal Constitution (1988), LDBEN No. 9394/96, the National Curricular Guidelines for Education of Youth and Adult, its opinions (2000; 2001), Current national and state education plans and other regulatory documents. The analysis procedures allowed to observe if the elaboration of the documents under review in this study was based on general principles that govern the modality at the national and state level. It is a review of the policies assumed by the municipal government, in theory, in these documents. A brief review of the literature contained in these documents, in their original versions. This review was also based on some authors such as Freire (1996; 1999), Sacristàn (1998; 2000), Brandão (2008), Paiva (1987), among others. The objective was only to prepare an analysis of the official documents, with the subsequent intention to improve it and have it as a reference for a later field investigation, about the feasibility of the same, in practice, from its homologation, in the scope of the subjects that constitute the management of the implementation of these devices
