O texto imagético para o público infanto-juvenil: estudo e compreensão de Grande Sertão: Veredas de Guimarães Rosa por meio da adaptação

Abstract

The aforementioned monographic work arose from the need to observe how the illustrations can influence the study and understanding of the Literary Text of Classical Works of Brazilian Literature, since most of these works present an elaborate language and make allusions to contexts far from the reality of the reader in phase literary life, especially children and adolescents, resulting in the difficulty of understanding the text, and this becoming unattractive. In this way, this work aimed to point out the role played by the illustrations in the works for the Infanto-juvenil audience, based on the adaptation in Graphic novel of the work "Grande Sertão: Veredas" of Guimarães Rosa, thus punctuating the importance of the imagery for the study and understanding of the literary text. As a method to meet the objectives, the bibliographical research was used, listing the readings that subsidized the subject, from researches in books, magazines and periodicals. For the qualitative approach, research was done on digital research tools among Scielo, using the descriptors: "Imaginary Text in Children's Literature" and "Adaptations as a facilitating method of understanding the literary text". With the elaboration of this monograph it was possible to affirm that the imagery text is a very effective tool within the literary works. It is also possible to infer that the multisemiotic texts found in contemporary re- creations of the classical works of Brazilian Literature attract young people because they are a reading of facilitated comprehension, especially the adaptations that are loaded with imagery texts, since they invite to refer the reader to the past and contextualize reading with reality. In this perspective, the image allows a much more effective understanding of the text, because it connects the reader with the plot through the awakening of feelings and emotions that only words can not awaken
