| Resumo: | Este trabalho versa sobre o processo de informação sobre a violência em que policiais estão suscetíveis diariamente, trazendo informações acerca dos homicídios dos mesmos. Possui o objetivo de analisar as circunstâncias em que policiais militares foram assassinados na região metropolitana de São Luís no período de 2014 a 2016. O estudo dessa temática é de grande relevância, haja vista que na grande maioria da população brasileira a figura do policial erroneamente é vista mais como um perpetrador do que vítima. Quando um policial é vitimado por infratores, há a sensação de ineficiência das ações estatais, o que gera certa insegurança populacional. O tipo de trabalho classifica-se quanto a sua natureza em uma pesquisa aplicada, quanto aos procedimentos classifica-se em bibliográfica e documental, sendo também uma pesquisa de abordagem mista, e quando aos objetivos constitui uma pesquisa descritiva e explicativa. O referencial teórico constituiu-se de livros, artigos científicos publicados, revistas, dentre outros. A pesquisa documental foi obtida através de um levantamento de dados oriundos da Diretoria de Pessoal da Polícia Militar do Maranhão inerentes aos homicídios dos policiais militares ocorridos no período em questão. Da análise dos dados constatouse que a maioria se deu na cidade de São Luís, onde houve uma prevalência maior no ano de 2014, e dentre as circunstâncias em que os policiais eram assassinados destacou-se durante o período em que o mesmo estava de folga das atividades profissionais. Houve também uma redução anual gradativa do número de casos. Dentre os fatores relacionados com os homicídios foram identificadas as intervenções ou reações a assaltos, possíveis execuções e outros. Os objetivos específicos foram alcançados na medida em que foram propostas algumas medidas para que a Polícia Militar do Maranhão atue no sentido de inibir essas ocorrências, tais como a proposta para a criação de um procedimento operacional a ser adotado pelo policial militar ao se deparar com uma situação de confronto, e ainda a proposição da disciplina “Sobrevivência Policial” nos cursos de formação policial militar, destacando o treinamento contínuo como recurso estratégico de prevenção |
| Resumo: | This work focuses on the process of information about the violence in which policemen are susceptible daily, bringing information about their homicides. It aims to analyze the circumstances in which military police were murdered in the metropolitan region of São Luís in the period from 2014 to 2016. The study of this theme is of great relevance, considering that in the vast majority of the Brazilian population the figure of the policeman is erroneously seen more as a perpetrator than the victim. When a policeman is victimized by offenders, there is a sense of inefficiency of state actions, which generates certain population insecurity. The type of work is classified as its nature in an applied research, as to the procedures it is classified in bibliography and documentary, being also a research of mixed approach, and when the objectives constitutes a descriptive research and Explanatory. The theoretical framework consisted of books, published scientific articles, magazines, among others. Documentary research was obtained through a survey of data from the Personnel Directorate of the Military Police of Maranhão, inherent to the homicides of the military police that occurred in the period in question. From the data analysis it was found that the majority occurred in the city of São Luís, where there was a higher prevalence in the year 2014, and among the circumstances in which the police were murdered stood out during the period when it was off the activities Professionals. There was also a gradual annual reduction in the number of cases. Among the factors related to homicides, interventions or reactions to assaults, possible executions and others were identified. The specific objectives were achieved in so far as some measures were proposed for the military Police of Maranhão to act to inhibit these occurrences, such as the proposal for the creation of an operational procedure to be adopted by the Military police officer when confronted with a confrontation situation, and also the proposition of the discipline "police survival" in military police training courses, highlighting the continuous training as a strategic resource for prevention |
