Policiamento fluvial em Barreirinhas-MA: uma proposta de implantação como alternativa para o Batalhão de Policiamento Turístico-BPTUR na região dos Lençóis Maranhenses

Abstract

This work deals with the proposal for the implementation of a model of river policing by the 4th Battalion of Tourist Policing Company (BPTUR), highlighting the social, economic and environmental aspects of the municipality of Barreirinha-MA, taking into account the importance of the Preguiças River for a region. Also noteworthy is the historical tracking of the Military Police of Maranhão in the Lençóis Maranhão and as security claims aimed at the service provided to the tourist sustained due to the implantation of a BPTUR Company in the municipality of Barreirinhas-MA in 2017. Other federal institutions and state, loose or fluvial policing, as a need for action by the agencies to guarantee the preservation of public order on the form of policing. These items highlight the importance of the river policing proposal for the region of Lençóis Maranhão, more specific in the tourist corridor of the river in Barreirinhas- MA, with the objective of operating preventively by trained and qualified doctors, with vessels and equipment in safe conditions. Use by the 4th company of BPTUR.
