Metodologias ativas aplicadas ao ensino de ciências com estudantes do Ensino Fundamental em Pinheiro – MA

Título: Metodologias ativas aplicadas ao ensino de ciências com estudantes do Ensino Fundamental em Pinheiro – MA
Abstact: Historically, the traditional teaching method is the most used in the teaching-learning process.
However, this teaching model in which the teacher holds all knowledge and the student
passively receives the information does not place the student at the center of the learning process
and does not have such positive results. Understanding the relevance of this theme, this study
presents results on active methodologies applied to science teaching. It aimed to analyze the
contributions of a science teaching proposal based on active methodology as tools to improve
teaching and learning of parasitology in a 7th year elementary school class at the Presidente
Médici Integrated Unit in Pinheiro-MA. To carry out this qualitative study, field research was
carried out at the Presidente Médici school, which was divided into the first week, with the
application of a questionnaire to assess prior knowledge and expository and dialogue classes on
parasitology; in the second week, application of games, booklets and questionnaire on the
methodology used in the classroom. The research demonstrated that the methodologies used
were of great relevance in the educational context, making learning more meaningful and,
above all, the active participation of students.

Envolvimento parental na educação escolar e a percepção dos pais sobre conteúdos de biologia

Título: Envolvimento parental na educação escolar e a percepção dos pais sobre conteúdos de biologia
Abstact: Education aims to transmit knowledge, promote skills and form the character of future
citizens. In this sense, school and family play a fundamental role in the education of
children and young people. Furthermore, the family and the school need to work
together for the student to be successful in their school career. The aim of this study
was to understand the level of parental involvement in their children's school life, as
well as their perception of Biology content. The research was qualitative and
quantitative in nature, using a semi-structured questionnaire, in which 60 parents of
students from three classes of the 3rd year of high school at the C.E. Dep. Luis Rocha
school, in the city of Santa Helena, in Maranhão, were interviewed. . The data obtained
revealed that the majority of fathers and mothers are single 3 83.33%, fishermen 3
60% and with incomplete basic education. Fathers and mothers said they participated
in their children's school life, especially by checking grades and participating in
meetings. In the analysis of the parents' perception regarding the Biology subject, it
was found that the majority do not know what is taught in the subject 3 62%, and among
the topics listed to say which ones they know about, the most mentioned was global
warming. 80% of those interviewed said they were not opposed to what is taught in the
subject, but the remainder stated that the school should avoid covering topics such as
sexual education and vaccines. Despite little knowledge about the subject, around 73%
consider Biology important for their children's careers in areas related to health. With
this it was possible to observe that parents have a shallow participation in their
children's school life and that they have a superficial knowledge of biology

Educação e Cidadania: um elo para emancipação humana nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental

Título: Educação e Cidadania: um elo para emancipação humana nos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental
Abstact: Education is the pillar for the development of human beings, it is the path to awareness
of the world. In this sense, family, school and teacher must go hand in hand in relation
to the student's learning process, thus allowing their critical awareness. Therefore,
education for citizenship is an essential element to leverage this teaching process, as it
enables a focus on human emancipation. Due to this estimate, the bases that promote
learning for students need to have a democratic, participatory, autonomous and critical
conception. In this way, this research corresponds to a related study on the teachers'
point of view regarding citizenship education, in a regular municipal school in the city of
Pinheiro – MA. It refers to an exploratory study, intending a qualitative approach. This
research involved the participation of 08 teachers working in primary education in the
early years. Through the questionnaire applied, it was possible to recognize what
teachers perceive in relation to the content on citizenship. In summary, with regard to
the participants, timely results were found in relation to their pedagogical practices,
from this perspective, it was possible to consider the difficulties in promoting good
citizenship education.

Título: Alfabetização na perspectiva de letramento: um estudo realizado com professores de 1º e 2º ano do ensino fundamental da Escola Municipal U. E. Maria Paiva Abreu em Pinheiro-MA
Abstact: The present study, whose theme addressed literacy and literacy in 1st and 2nd year
elementary school, had the general objective of understanding how some teachers
practice reading and writing from the perspective of literacy and literacy. Specifically,
it was intended to describe the conceptions of literacy and literacy as introductory
elements of the action of teaching a child to read and write; show a brief history of
these two processes in the state of Maranhão, and; characterize the research school,
as well as the sampling and analysis of the results obtained. The paths of the research
were covered in the face of the object of interest and viable possibilities for its
development, for which it relied on a descriptive and exploratory research. Descriptive
for exposing and interpreting the information contained in the consulted theoretical
references, namely Soares (2011), Soares (2010), Ferreiro and Teberosky (2005),
Kleiman (2005), Tfouni (2010), among others. Exploratory for enabling greater
familiarization between the researcher and the researched object. Direct contact with
the object gave a result considered satisfactory, which became possible through field
work, in which four teachers who work in the first two years of elementary school were
surveyed, they were able to give their contributions regarding literacy from the literacy
perspective and thus understand the dynamics of literacy using social literacy
practices. As a result, it is thought that those surveyed still lack a little more theoretical,
practical and technical knowledge to be able to develop their activities in a more
coherent and grounded way than theoretical research contemplates.
