Abstact: Ariano Suassuna's (1927-2014) play, *O Auto da Compadecida*, is frequently reviewed and analyzed in educational institutions and theater groups, who investigate its narrative and thematic particularities. Ariano Suassuna's work premiered in Recife in 1956. This play, which blends elements of medieval religious theater with Northeastern humor, allows for a comparison between the language of theater and that of cinema, highlighting the use of specific settings (theater) and the ability to explore varied environments (cinema). The focus of this analysis will be the film *O Auto da Compadecida*, by Ariano Suassuna. This analysis will significantly address some points related to discourse, considering that both the play and its adaptations for film and television discuss the creation of images from words. For this, the theories of Linda Hutcheon (2011) and Ismail Xavier (2003) will be fundamental to understanding the process of adaptation and transcoding. In this way, "Auto da Compadecida" transcends regional and temporal boundaries, establishing itself as an essential reference for those seeking to understand Brazilian popular literature, theater, and cinema in their various expressions and interpretations. Whether in school settings, on stage, or on television, the work continues to resonate in the country's collective memory

Título: O nacionalismo exagerado de policarpo Quaresma: idealismo, identidade e frustração no romance de Lima Barreto
Abstact: This work analyzes the novel Triste Fim de Policarpo Quaresma (1915), by Lima Barreto
(1881-1922), based on qualitative research, using an analytical and critical reading of the
literary work. In dialogue with the studies of Antonio Candido, Artur Monteiro Leitão Júnior
(2011) and Valdemar Valente Júnior (2020), the exaggerated nationalism of the protagonist is
investigated as an expression of the political, social, and identity contradictions of the
Brazilian First Republic. The analysis shows how Policarpo's idealism, based on the
valorization of the national language, culture, and agriculture, clashes with a reality marked
by authoritarianism, social exclusion, and the inefficiency of public institutions. The
character's trajectory functions as a metaphor for the limits of individual projects of
transformation in a political context not very open to structural changes. Throughout the
study, it is observed that the novel uses irony and memory as resources for social criticism,
highlighting the distance between the official discourse of progress and lived experience. It is
concluded that Lima Barreto's work remains relevant by problematizing the construction of
national identity and reaffirming the role of literature as an instrument of critical reflection on
Brazilian society

Título: Barreiras e possibilidades na inclusão de aluno com deficiência auditiva: em aulas de língua portuguesa
Abstact: The inclusion of students with hearing impairments in Portuguese language classes still represents a challenge in the Brazilian educational system, mainly due to the specific communicational aspects involved in teaching this subject. This study is based on the principles of Inclusive Education, from the perspective of the bilingual approach between Libras (Brazilian Sign Language) and Portuguese, and on theoretical contributions on communicational accessibility and teacher training, according to authors such as Mantoan, Lacerda, and legal documents that guide the inclusion policy in the country. In this sense, the article aims to examine the main pedagogical barriers and possibilities related to the inclusion of students with hearing impairments in Elementary Education, as well as to understand the role of teacher training in this process. The research, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, was carried out through bibliographic study and field research in a municipal school, including the application of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with the teacher responsible for assisting the student with hearing impairments. The results show that the greatest difficulties are related to a lack of communication accessibility, a scarcity of visual teaching resources, the absence of assistive technologies, and weaknesses in teacher training focused on inclusive education. On the other hand, the study revealed that the use of visual resources, the implementation of the Libras-Portuguese bilingual approach, the use of assistive technologies, and collaborative work between teachers, interpreters, special education support staff, and school administration are effective strategies for promoting inclusion. It was also observed that continuing education is fundamental for teachers to apply pedagogical practices appropriate to the needs of students with hearing impairments. It is concluded that effective inclusion requires institutional commitment, investments in infrastructure, and a change in pedagogical approach, guaranteeing real conditions for the participation and learning of all students

Título: Páginas de formação: o jornal O Globo(1889-1890) e a construção da intelectualidade maranhense
Abstact: The absence of a consolidated Brazilian literary tradition in the early centuries prompted
writers and readers to seek external references, with a notable predominance of French
influence. The French novel not only influenced national production but also shaped the tastes
and reading habits of a public still in formation. In this context, the newspaper emerged as the
primary vehicle for literary dissemination, where the inclusion of the feuilleton (serialized
novels published at the bottom of the page) played a central role. In Maranhão, this practice
was fundamental to the construction of a local intelligentsia, as the periodical press
democratized access to foreign works and served as a laboratory for regional literary criticism
and creation. In view of this, the present work proposes to investigate the impact of the French
novel on the 19th-century Maranhão press, focusing on the newspaper O Globo (1889-1890),
analyzing how the periodical contributed to the formation of a critical reading society and the
consolidation of autonomous intellectual thought. To this end, a qualitative-quantitative
approach is adopted, with a historiographical and analytical character, using primary sources
from the Hemeroteca Digital Brasileira and secondary sources from academic databases such
as CAPES and SciELO. The theoretical framework will be guided by the studies of Abreu
(2006), Barros (2023), Candido (2007), Hallewell (2017), and Meyer (1996)
