Título: Acessibilidade inteligente: integração de sistemas domóticos em escolas para pessoas com deficiência visual
Abstact: This work aims to develop a preliminary architectural design for accessibility that implements solutions using home automation at the Maranhão School for the Blind (ESCEMA). In the current context of São Luís, there are numerous examples of inadequate buildings in terms of accessibility, given the incomplete compliance with the parameters established by the Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NBR). Concurrently, there is an exponential advancement in technologies serving architecture, among them home automation, which refers to the automation of various building resources with intelligent systems. This has a flexible application that can be employed at different levels of complexity and types of buildings, including schools. ESCEMA, located in São Luís and dedicated to serving visually impaired people, has stood out for 57 years as a space for meeting, socialization, and learning. Considering the potential for improving architectural quality, especially in terms of accessibility and technology, a project is developed that integrates home automation systems into the built environment, culminating in proposals and solutions for the renovation and adaptation of the school to its target audience. Site visits were conducted, conversations were held with school management, and studies of home automation systems and current accessibility standards were carried out. Furthermore, the project approach aligns with the principles of Universal Design, which, in turn, complement the benefits provided by technology to those who use the spaces where home automation and its systems are employed. In this way, the proposed adaptation of spaces will promote greater autonomy and safety for the students and staff of the institution.

Union, States and federative entities are manifested. Being the central artifice of the work
of public administration, and consequently an important management tool in cities. The
study aims to unite two areas that are interrelated, identifying the importance of the public budget and the participatory budget, how it works and how it should be used for the management of sustainable cities, with a focus on the 2030 agenda, in particular the
Objective of sustainable development number 11, which involves improvements in the
city for the population. The Methodology will be carried out through bibliographical and
documentary research, being descriptive and exploratory of the Public Budget,
specifically aimed at the Participatory Budget and the Sustainable Development Goals.
With regard to the importance of the SDG and its goals in sustainable cities and user

Título: A cidade à mão livre: a documentação dos espaços livres públicos de São Luís - MA, por meio dos registros de urban sketching
Abstact: This study aims to investigate the practice of urban sketching, an artistic practice that consists of drawing outdoors and directly on site, as a tool for documenting public spaces. The research was motivated by the relevance of this approach in recording the historical, architectural and social aspects of urban space, with a focus on the city of São Luís, Maranhão. Public spaces, such as squares and parks, play a fundamental role in urban life, being places of coexistence, memory and cultural expression. However, in a scenario of rapid social and urban transformations, how can we guarantee the recording and preservation of these spaces, which often carry unique stories and meanings? In this context, the study proposes to understand how urban sketching can be used effectively as a tool for documentation and reflection on public spaces. To this end, the following specific objectives were defined: to investigate the relationship between the history of art and architecture and the use of drawing as a documentary tool, to analyze the practice of urban sketching in the documentation of public spaces and to explore users' perception of these spaces based on the visual records produced in the city. The methodology used was qualitative and exploratory, involving a bibliographic review on art, architecture and urban sketching, documentary analysis of public spaces in São Luís and visual records produced during the drawing meeting held at Praça Pantheon. The results of the study, represented by the visual records made at Praça Pantheon, consolidate the practice as an effective instrument of documentation and reflection, since it allowed the recording of both tangible elements, such as architectural structures and landscapes, and intangible aspects, such as social interactions and local atmospheres. It is concluded that urban sketching plays a significant role in the documentation of public spaces, especially in historically rich cities such as São Luís. Thus, the work offers subsidies for future research that integrates different methodologies and expands the scope of
the practice as a tool for analysis and reflection on urban spaces, contributing to the planning and conservation of architectural heritage.

Título: A vida acontece a pé: uma análise do impacto das Ilhas de Calor no Índice de Caminhabilidade na Avenida Coronel Colares Moreira em São Luís, MA
Abstact: This study analyzes walkability from the perspective of thermal comfort in the city of
São Luís, Maranhão, focusing on Avenida Coronel Colares Moreira, characterized by
intense urbanization and low vegetation cover. The objective was to evaluate the
impact of Urban Heat Islands (UHI) on the Walkability Index (iCam 2.0), identifying
interferences in pedestrian experience and proposing guidelines for urban space
requalification. The research employed qualitative and quantitative methods, including
the application of iCam 2.0, thermal measurements, and a questionnaire with users.
Four segments of the avenue were analyzed, considering twelve indicators in six
categories. The results revealed deficiencies in crossings, shading, and lighting, with
an average iCam score of 1.49 (sufficient), reinforcing the need for interventions. The
proposed guidelines prioritize qualified sidewalks, shading, road safety, and urban
furniture, contributing to more accessible, comfortable, and sustainable urban
enviroments.
