Resumo:	No cenário atual da Literatura Brasileira tornou-se evidente uma tendência pela desconstrução de estereótipos. No que se diz respeito ao negro, a raça negra, fica clara a necessidade de cada vez mais serem analisadas obras que foram criadas em períodos em que o negro não era considerado nem como um ser humano. Pelo exposto, observa-se ao que o presente trabalho se objetiva, que é a (des)construção dos estereótipos do negro, sob a ótica de Maria Firmina dos Reis, através de seu discurso inovador e que traz o negro sem estereotipias negativas. Entretanto, objetiva-se analisar fatores que contribuíram para a construção da imagem do negro, primeiramente no campo social e posteriormente na literatura brasileira, além disso, analisar alguns dos estereótipos criados sobre o negro dentro da literatura. Sabe-se que o negro ao longo do tempo vem passando por visões estereotipadas e que os valores identitários dos negros ficaram à margem dos valores dos brancos, criando assim, uma série de problemas sociais, uma vez que o negro foi vítima da desqualificação da sua raça, vítima de racismos e estigmas sociais que influenciaram sob sua imagem uma visão negativa, pejorativa, depreciada, logo, estereotipada. Para a realização deste trabalho, fez-se necessário realizar pesquisas bibliográficas para um maior embasamento teórico-científico sobre o tema abordado. Autores como Luis Silva Cuti, David Brookshaw, Alfredo Bosi e Maria Firmina dos Reis são os principais norteadores para a realização deste trabalho. Foi elaborada uma pesquisa sobre algumas obras do século XIX onde se identifica várias estereotipias sobre o negro, o contexto histórico do século XIX, onde o negro passou a ser apresentado com mais frequência nos livros, a fim de deixar mais evidente o pioneirismo e a astúcia de Maria Firmina em criar uma obra trazendo o negro sob uma nova perspectiva, tão diferente da época em que a autora estava vivendo e como a obra Úrsula nos permite ter uma nova visão sobre o negro, nos possibilitando (des)construir essa imagem negativa tão difundida e reproduzida na literatura através dos séculos
Resumo:	In the current scenario of Brazilian Literature, a trend towards the deconstruction of stereotypes has become evident. As regards the black, the black race, it becomes clear the need for more and more to be analyzed works that were created in periods when the Negro was not considered nor as a human being. From the above, we can observe the present work, which is the (dis) construction of the stereotypes of the black, in the perspective of Maria Firmina dos Reis, through her innovative discourse and that brings the black without negative stereotypies. However, it aims to analyze factors that contributed to the construction of the black image, first in the social field and later in the Brazilian literature, in addition, to analyze some of the stereotypes created on the black within the literature. It is known that the black through time has been passing through stereotyped visions and that the identities values of the blacks were left to the margin of the values of the whites, creating, thus, a series of social problems, since the black was victim of the disqualification of its race, victim of racism and social stigmas that influenced in his image a negative, pejorative, depreciated, stereotyped vision. For the accomplishment of this work, it was necessary to carry out bibliographical researches for a greater theoretical-scientific base on the subject approached. Authors like Luis Silva Cuti, David Brookshaw, Alfredo Bosi and Maria Firmina dos Reis are the main guiding principles for this work. A research was carried out on some works of the 19th century where several stereotypes about the Negro are identified, the historical context of the nineteenth century, where the negro was introduced more frequently in the books, in order to make more evident the pioneering and the astuteness of Maria Firmina in creating a work bringing the Negro under a new perspective, so different from the time when the author was living and how the work Ursula allows us to have a new vision on the black, enabling us (to) construct this negative image so diffused and reproduced in the literature through the centuries
