Estudo de caso: análise das causas, do método de solução aplicado e impacto de uma ponte em construção que ficou abaixo do nível da água em uma estrada maranhense

Abstract

The paper deals with a case study, evidencing the problems and solutions adopted on the construction of the Bridge over the Igarapé do Arvoredo, 40 meters span, located between the stakes 1979 + 00 to 1981 + 00 of the MA-318 Highway , which, still under construction, was found below the water level of the river in the maximum flood. In this case study is reviewed the foundation of the studies carried out in which the design of the bridge project was based, the execution according to the project and the justification of such event. In finding the causes, the solution applied with regard to project changes and impacts is studied, both in the execution of the work and in the final budget, where the financial reflection of this event can be identified. It is interesting to note the measures taken based on a premise of implementation that the recovery of the bridge should be based on the assumption of taking advantage of the existing structure, avoiding higher costs. With the possession of the obtained data, actions for the event not to be repeated can be developed from this work, where it shows exactly the consequences that this phenomenon produces, avoiding rework, giving agility and response to the work. In this way, it will serve as a basis for future projects applied in the region, with the same characteristics, be it preventive and corrective intervention, helping to avoid unexpected issues
