Núcleo de Análise de Sistema e Informação (NASI): interface da inteligência policial e policiamento comunitário

Abstract

The Maranhão Military Police is one of the main bodies that make up the Public Security System. Directly responsible for preserving public order, through patrolling and operations. And always seeks excellence and continuous improvement in consumption of its mission. In this way, the Military Police of Maranhão, in the role of the 20th BPM, sought to unite the idea of ​​community policing and police intelligence, conceiving a model in which both police and the community must work together to identify, prioritize and resolve problems, with the aim of improving the overall quality of life in the area. Thus, the police unite the call, Intelligence Doctrine and Community Policing as a way to obtain data, capable of building knowledge. Thus increasing its ability to prevent and repress crime, as long as it is well structured and supported by all members of society. This way, this work seeks to analyze the effects of the implementation of the Systems Analysis Center and Information (NASI) on the productivity of PMMA's 20th BPM and its relationship with community, exploring the influence of technology on police activity, and how it can assist in bringing the police closer to the community. The ethodology used was to bibliographic and documentary research for exploratory purposes, which also used questionnaires to obtain information on the topic. The research is of mixed character and nature applied, as it analyzed the problem both in qualitative and quantitative aspects and with objective of generating knowledge for practical application. The research revolved around the study of the case regarding the consequences of the implementation of the NASI in the 20th BPM, therefore the place ofresearch will be the aforementioned battalion, and the police officers assigned to the unit. The results indicated that the 20th BPM of PMMA, showed improvements in productivity and efficiency in combating crime with the implementation of NASI, in addition to enabling a greater approximation of unity with the community
