Título: Impactos da má gestão de estoques em pequenas empresas comerciais na cidade de Trizidela do Vale – MA
Abstact: Inventory management is an essential pillar to ensure the sustainability and financial
liquidity of micro and small enterprises. This study aims to analyze the financial and
operational impacts resulting from poor inventory management in Small Commercial Companies (PECs) located in the municipality of Trizidela do Vale - MA.
Methodologically, the research is characterized as an applied study, with a
quantitative-qualitative approach and descriptive objectives, conducted through field
research. For primary data collection, a structured questionnaire was applied via
Google Forms to a sample of 10 managers and employees of the local retail sector.
The results reveal a scenario of sharp managerial vulnerability, marked by empiricism
and operational obsolescence, where 50% of the companies rely exclusively on
manual controls and 60% make purchases without any scientific method of forecasting
demand. A critical logistical paradox of stockouts (60%) concomitant with the
accumulation of idle merchandise (80%) was found, culminating in tangible financial
losses for 60% of the surveyed establishments. It is concluded that the lack of
professionalization and the underutilized use of automation technologies drain regional
competitive capacity, making technical training of local teams emergent.

Abstact: This article aims to analyze how women entrepreneurs operate in the direct sales
sector of the cosmetics industry in the municipality of Trizidela do Vale - MA, and how
this model contributes to income generation, strengthening their independence and
financial autonomy. In the direct sales sector of cosmetics, female entrepr -
maeneurship stands out for allowing low initial investment, flexible hours, and potential
for financial growth. Methodologically, a quantitative-qualitative field research was
conducted, through which data from a questionnaire applied to 17 local resellers were
collected and analyzed. The theoretical framework is based on authors who discuss
financial autonomy, empowerment, and sales strategies. Given the inequalities and
limitations of access to the formal labor market, this activity emerges as a viable
alternative for women's autonomy, enabling greater freedom in personal, family, and
social decisions, as well as seeking improvements in quality of life and local economic
development. The results indicate that the activity contributes significantly to the
development of new skills, such as leadership, decision-making, and digital literacy. It
is concluded that female entrepreneurship in Trizidela do Vale - MA transcends mere
income supplementation; it is consolidated as an important instrument of social
transformation and emancipation, operating as a real mechanism of self-determination
and subjective and material empowerment for women, despite the challenges imposed
by informality and the overload of the double shift.

Título: A importância do recrutamento e seleção na formação de equipes de atendimento: uma análise das práticas de contratação no comércio de Pedreiras – MA

of customer service teams in the commerce sector of Pedreiras–MA, Brazil. The research
adopts a bibliographic and field-based approach, integrating theory and practice to examine the
impact of recruitment and selection in organizations. It is quantitative and descriptive in nature,
with data collected through an online questionnaire applied to a sample of 16 managers from
local commercial businesses. Data were analyzed using graphs generated by Google Forms. The results indicate a strong consensus regarding the influence of recruitment and selection on

performance (Chiavenato, 2020). It is concluded that recruitment and selection practices in the
studied companies remain predominantly traditional, although there is partial adoption of
digital tools. The interview is the central stage of the process and is widely used as the main

Abstact: This study analyzed the use of digital sales channels and their perceived impacts on
the performance and growth of commercial enterprises in Pedreiras-MA. The research
adopted a quantitative, descriptive, and exploratory approach, using a structured
questionnaire with closed and multiple-choice questions, applied through Google Forms to 12 commercial enterprises in the municipality. The results showed that all
participants use at least one digital channel for sales or promotion, especially
WhatsApp and Instagram. It was also observed that most participants use these
channels frequently. The most frequently reported motivations were the search for
customers and sales and easier communication with consumers. Regarding perceived
impacts, most respondents associated the use of these channels with business growth
and customer acquisition. However, the research also identified difficulties in using
these tools, especially lack of time, as well as issues related to knowledge, financial
resources, and preparation. It is concluded that, according to the participants’
perceptions, digital channels are relevant mainly for customer communication and
support for the sales process. However, the benefits attributed to these tools were
associated with how they are used in each business’s routine.
