Abstact: Wattpad emerges as an innovative tool that redefines the way contemporary readers, especially young people, are formed and engaged. More than expanding access to reading, the platform promotes  a  type  of  digital-literary  literacy  in  which  the  act  of  reading  is  intertwined  with practices  of  interaction,  production,  and  sharing.  The  general  objective  of  this  study  is  to analyze Wattpad as a tool for the development of young readers in the digital age, considering the  transformations  of  the book and  reading  practices  in cyberspace. Regarding  the  specific objectives, the following stand out: to understand the transformation of the book from printed to  digital  format,  situating  it  within  the  context  of  the  information  age;  to  discuss  reading practices in cyberspace, considering changes in ways of reading and relating to literary texts in &#xD;
digital environments; and to examine Wattpad as a space that contributes to the consolidation of reading among young people. The methodology employed is characterized by a bibliographic and  quantitative  approach,  which  included  the  application  of  a  questionnaire  to  frequent Wattpad users. This study is justified by the need to understand youth reading practices that take place outside school and institutional settings, especially in digital environments such as Wattpad, where reading occurs as an everyday experience integrated with leisure, identity, and digital sociability. For the construction of the theoretical  framework,  the  studies  of Chartier (1998) were  considered,  whose  contributions  make  it  possible  to  understand  the  historical &#xD;
trajectory  of  the  book  and  reading  practices,  from manuscript  to  print  and  to  digital media; Martino (2015), who analyzes languages and processes of meaning production in the networked digital  environment;  and  Santaella  (2006),  who  understands  reading  as  a  historically constructed cognitive model, conditioned by the technical means of production and circulation of signs. The results of this study show that Wattpad acts as a relevant formative environment for  young  readers  by  consolidating  reading  practices  supported  by  regularity,  emotional engagement,  and  long-term  continuity.  In  addition,  the  data  indicate  that Wattpad  expands young people’s literary repertoire by enabling frequent contact with different genres, styles, and narrative forms, contributing to the development of reading competencies.</description>

Abstact: This study aims to understand how digital resources influence teaching practice in&#xD;
the Language Arts area, based on activities developed with 9th-grade students at the&#xD;
Princesa Isabel Municipal School, located in the municipality of Zé Doca-MA. The&#xD;
research is situated within the context of the transformations caused by digital culture&#xD;
in writing instruction and seeks to analyze how these changes are reflected in daily&#xD;
school life. This is a basic, exploratory, and descriptive study with a qualitative&#xD;
approach, developed through field research. Methodological procedures included&#xD;
participant observation, application of a questionnaire to the Portuguese Language&#xD;
teacher, and analysis of pedagogical documents used in classes. The results&#xD;
indicated that, although the teacher recognizes the pedagogical potential of digital&#xD;
technologies and affirms that she uses them frequently, the use of these resources&#xD;
occurs sporadically and without much systematization. A predominance of traditional&#xD;
pedagogical practices and an absence of writing activities mediated by digital&#xD;
technologies were observed. It is concluded that, despite the existence of&#xD;
technological resources in schools and a discourse favorable to innovation, digital&#xD;
technologies are not yet configured as a transformative element in writing teaching&#xD;
practices, highlighting the need for greater integration of these resources into&#xD;
pedagogical planning and teacher training</description>

Abstact: The evolutionary character of the language occurs temporally and continuously, and &#xD;
the renewal of the linguistic system relies on the creative and recreative capacity of &#xD;
the speakers, through the use of important elements for the process of construction, &#xD;
updating and  transformation of  the  language  through  the  formation of new words &#xD;
and  attributions  of  new  meanings.  Among  these  components  that  act  in  the &#xD;
construction of new words are neologisms, a linguistic phenomenon studied in the &#xD;
semantic and lexical scope in this work. In this vein, the present investigation deals &#xD;
with  linguistic  manifestations,  such  as  neologisms,  evidenced  in  the  linguistic &#xD;
practices of high school students. That said, the present work aimed  to analyze the &#xD;
presence of neologisms in the language of students in the first year of high school, &#xD;
as a factor that marks the evolutionary nature of any  language. In the theoretical &#xD;
scope,  the  basis  comes  from  authors  such  as:  Alves  (2010),  Barbosa  (1981), &#xD;
Guilbert (1975) Cunha and Cintra (2017), Boulanger (1979), Cabré (2010), Mattielo &#xD;
(2017)  and  Carvalho  (2000).  Regarding  the  methodology,  it  is  an  exploratory &#xD;
research, in terms of objectives, and field, in relation to procedures, with a qualitative &#xD;
approach adopted in the data analysis. Regarding the results, it was found that the &#xD;
juvenile  lexicon  cooperates  directly  with  the  active  and  dynamic  process  of  the &#xD;
language through the neologic creations</description>

Abstact: This study focuses on analyzing intertextuality in the meme genre, with an emphasis&#xD;
on productions that address the current Brazilian presidency. The research explores&#xD;
how memes use intertextual resources to construct meaning, especially when&#xD;
associated with public figures and government events. In addition to analyzing the&#xD;
memes themselves, the work considers user interactions in the comments section,&#xD;
aiming to capture the different ways in which shared content is received. The overall&#xD;
objective is to investigate the phenomenon of intertextuality present in memes&#xD;
depicting the current Brazilian government, understanding how these intertextual&#xD;
elements are perceived by internet users. The analysis is based on the principle that&#xD;
memes are linguistic practices that interact with various texts. The study falls within the&#xD;
field of Textual Linguistics, which allows for an understanding of the factors of textuality&#xD;
and the mechanisms of meaning construction in texts. The theoretical basis was&#xD;
constructed from Koch (1997, 2008, 2021), Marcuschi (2002, 2008), Bakhtin (1997),&#xD;
as well as thinkers such as Dawkins (2007), Chagas (2020) and Fragoso (2022), who&#xD;
contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon of memes. This is a bibliographic&#xD;
research of a qualitative nature, developed from the collection and analysis of data&#xD;
from the digital platform Instagram, considering the relevance of this network as a&#xD;
space for the circulation and production of intertextual texts</description>
