In view of this, it is extremely important that public security agencies have teams with specialized training to combat this type of crime, as is the case of the Air Tactical Scepter (CTA/MA). The present research sought to understand how the CTA/MA decentralization influenced the reduction of bank robbery rates in the interior of Maranhão. Given the complexity and relevance of T-PHC for the preservation of the lives of public security agents, in view of the growing context of the Novo Cangaço – a highly dangerous criminal modality that, in its actions, has already caused the death of many police officers – It is essential that professionals who are at the forefront of combating this criminal modality, which in the context of the state of Maranhão is the Comando de Operações e Sobrevivência em Área Rural - COSAR, have access to knowledge and materials related to this modality.
