A importância dos jogos e brincadeiras para construção do conhecimento matemático no primeiro ano do ensino fundamental

Título: A importância dos jogos e brincadeiras para construção do conhecimento matemático no primeiro ano do ensino fundamental
Abstact: The present work sought to investigate the importance of games and games for the
construction of mathematical knowledge in the first year of elementary school. The
work is basically presented in two parts. In the first part, concepts of several authors
were gathered about the use of games and games that the teacher can use as an
auxiliary teaching resource. After this more theoretical part, the results of the empirical
research are presented, in which data collection was carried out through
questionnaires that were applied to five teachers of the first year of elementary school
from two public schools in Balsas/MA and analyzed qualitatively. The collected data
indicate that the interviewed teachers make or have already made use of games and
games as a teaching methodology in the classroom, and stated that there was some
kind of improvement in the student's learning development and in the interpersonal
communication between him and his colleagues. Thus, the research results indicate
that the use of games and play can improve the student's relationship with
Mathematics, and consequently, also improve the learning of this knowledge, implying
that this teaching methodology must be used in a controlled way, so that there is no
distraction and blurring of the content to be studied, since these games and games are
used only as a teaching aid, but the direction and effectiveness of the methodology is
the teacher's responsibility.

Abstact: This work addresses the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as a
tool in teaching Mathematics in Elementary School. The research is justified by the need
for methodologies that make learning more inclusive and effective, considering the
difficulties faced by students in rural contexts, where access to educational resources is
limited. Therefore, the general objective is to investigate the influence of the use of
technology in the process of teaching and learning Mathematics in a rural public school
in Balsas-MA. For that, we seek to identify which digital educational tools and
applications can be effectively integrated into mathematics teaching, analyze how the
absence of digital technologies affects students' learning in mathematics, and compare
students' learning of mathematical content through teaching activities carried out with and
without the use of digital technologies. The methodology adopted combines bibliographic
review and field research, involving classroom observations and interviews with teachers.
The conclusions reinforce that the inclusion of ICT is essential to transform mathematics
teaching, enabling the development of skills necessary in a digital world. For technology
to be used effectively, it is essential to invest in ongoing teacher training, enabling them
to integrate it in a pedagogical manner, since this research identified that the lack of
specific training for teachers in the use of technology is a significant barrier. The study
may contribute not only to improving the teaching of Mathematics in the school
investigated, but also to reflections on the importance of technology in education,
especially in rural contexts.

Título: Matemática financeira: a importância do conhecimento da matemática financeira para a formação do licenciamento em matemática
Abstact: The research about the formation of Mathematics teachers facing the need
to prepare students for life's obstacles. This work aims to show the
importance and the need to insert Financial Education and Financial
Mathematics in Basic Education. This monograph sought to deal with the
laws that underlie the teaching learning of Financial Mathematics at School.
The analyzes and discussions of the data obtained through the
bibliographical study from the perspective of a society that is always subject
to constant transformations. It is understood that teachers are the main part
of the teaching process, and for this reason, it is necessary that their
training is frequently observed and updated. In this sense, it is worth
emphasizing that the activities applied in the classroom in the financial
mathematics content can bring great benefits, since the world demands
more and more from people and more and more people are in need of
financial application in their lives.

Matemática viva: alguns padrões matemáticos e geométricos da natureza

Título: Matemática viva: alguns padrões matemáticos e geométricos da natureza
Abstact: This study aims to investigate the mathematical patterns found in nature, with emphasis on
fractals, spirals, and numerical sequences, analyzing their formation rules and potential
applications in mathematics education. It starts from the contemporary conception that
mathematics is essentially the science of patterns, redefining the role of the mathematician as
an observer and interpreter of regularities present in physical, biological, and even behavioral

phenomena. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using bibliographic and exploratory-
descriptive methodology, based on works by classical and contemporary authors, as well as a

variety of educational materials. Both physical and digital collections were consulted, along
with technological tools such as artificial intelligence, to search for illustrative images and
construct geometric models. The analysis focuses on recurring structures in nature, such as the
symmetry of snowflakes, fractals found in tree branches, river basins, and biological systems,
as well as logarithmic spirals observed in shells, galaxies, hurricanes, and flowers. The
Fibonacci sequence is addressed as a fundamental numerical pattern, widely found in natural
phenomena, and when related to spirals, it reveals the harmony embedded in the golden ratio.
These elements are discussed not only for their visual or aesthetic appeal but also for their
functionality in spatial organization and the efficient growth of living organisms. The study
proposes a reflection on the application of these patterns in mathematics teaching, in alignment
with the guidelines of the Brazilian National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), emphasizing
their importance for developing geometric thinking and promoting a more meaningful,
contextualized, and investigative learning process. It concludes that mathematical patterns not
only describe natural reality but are part of its very essence, highlighting mathematics as a
universal language that integrates science, art, and nature.
