The sample consisted of women, aged between 10 and 49 years, who died during pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium. To this end, a methodology was used through a descriptive ecological and quantitative time series study, using secondary data from health information systems. The data were collected from the Mortality Information System (SIM), a system managed by the Department of Health Situation Analysis, of the Health Surveillance Secretariat, in conjunction with the State and Municipal Health Secretariats, available in the system of the Department of Information Technology of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). The results highlighted the influence of socioeconomic factors, difficulties in accessing health and precariousness in prenatal care. The previously prevailing model of care, centered primarily on psychiatric hospitals, underwent a transformation toward a more community-oriented approach, exemplified by initiatives such as primary care and the Family Health Strategy (ESF), which emphasize the importance of social reintegration and implement care practices that prioritize the patient's lived experience, rather than focusing solely on the symptoms and psychiatric disorders associated with individuals with mental health problems. Objective: To highlight in the literature the humanized nursing care for patients with mental illness in the context of primary care. Methodology: This study uses an integrative literature review approach, with a descriptive and exploratory approach. The searches for scientific articles dealing with the chosen theme were carried out between October 10 and 20. To survey the literature articles, a search was carried out in the following databases: (LILACS); Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScieLO); Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline); Google Scholar. Results: The search in the databases resulted in 232 articles, among which only 14 responded in full to the criteria established in the research. The aim of the work is to understand the challenges faced by the nursing team in providing care to the elderly within the scope of home care. This is a literature review carried out by searching for journals published in online databases, namely: LILACS, EMBASE, Web Of Science, Scopus and Medline/PubMed. Using the PICo mnemonic, the following guiding question was constructed; What are the challenges facing the nursing team when it comes to home care for elderly patients? By searching the databases, it was possible to identify 851 works using the Health Descriptors “nursing; health of the elderly and home care services”, with the help of the Boolean marker and. When applying the eligibility criteria, 7 works were considered, showing that the main difficulties were related to the work environment, which is not standardized and relies on improvised actions by both professionals and caregivers. When this decline in functionality occurs, the body begins to accumulate metabolic toxins in the blood. For this reason, this insufficiency is considered a public health problem, due to the fact that cases are increasingly increasing and contributing to an increase in health spending. The main treatment for this dysfunction is hemodialysis, which is a treatment used by patients who have lost kidney function, using a machine that filters and cleans the blood, doing the job that the kidney cannot do. During these sessions, one of the essential multidisciplinary team professionals is the nurse, who actively participates from the patient's entry to exit. Therefore, this project aims to identify the role of nursing professionals in caring for patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This is an exploratory, qualitative research. Data collection will be through questionnaires, interviews and observations based on visits to the Biorim clinic, located in the city of Bacabal.
