Título: Musicalização na primeira infância: uma sequência didática para a educação infantil
Abstact: Music has a significant impact on children's musical development, generating transformation and great effective benefits for their lives, leading to increased self-confidence and enabling them to learn and develop diverse skills. When incorporated into the school environment, it stimulates the social, cognitive, and emotional development of students, fostering greater creativity, concentration, and expression (França, 2021).

Thus, this study aims to investigate the main impacts of musical education on the motor development of two-year-old children. In this context, it is observed that musical stimulation constitutes a determining factor in the child's learning process. Since music can contribute to cognitive development, giving them an impressive perception regarding affective memory.

Título: A PRÁTICA MUSICAL INFORMAL E SUA CONTRIBUIÇÃO NO DESPERTAR PARA O ENSINO FORMAL DE MÚSICA: vivência na Igreja Cristã Evangélica Renovo em São Luís,MA
Abstact: This study focuses on the practice and learning of religious music in the Renovo Evangelical Christian Church, located in São Luís-MA, starting from a perspective and a concept about musical training, understanding that the educational dimension is present in musical practices, whether in school or not, carried out in different contexts. From this perspective, this research had the general objective of understanding the impact of musical experiences in the Renovo Evangelical Christian Church in preparing its members to join the church's Worship Ministry and whether it is contributing to the awakening of the need to seek formal music education in schools and universities. The justification lies in the relevance of the topic, as it also brings to the discussion the practice in the Renovo Evangelical Church and how the process adopted by the Worship Ministry, that is, the church's group of musicians, takes place in their daily lives. The methodology used was bibliographic research for literature review, opting for a qualitative approach, and field research conducted at the Renovo Christian Church with the application of questionnaires to members of the worship ministry and an interview with the Coordinator of the Music Ministry. After analysis, it was possible to understand how musical practice takes place in the church studied, and it allowed for a broader view of the musical activity developed in the religious context, since music is an integral part of worship activities, as well as understanding the challenges faced in this practice and how musicians develop their activities and act in this environment. And how this practice encourages the interviewees to pursue formal academic studies in schools and universities. This research also contributed to reflection on how musical education processes occur in the Christian church and broadens the perspective on learning and teaching music

Abstact: This work presents a bibliographic review of the Course Completion Papers (TCCs) of the Music Degree course at the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), produced between 2019 and 2024, focusing on practices and conceptions related to musical education. Through a qualitative and quantitative analysis, it sought to identify methodological trends, main theoretical references, and the contributions of these works to the field of music education in Maranhão. The results point to a predominance of active methodological approaches, such as project-based learning, workshops, and collaborative practices, evidenced in a greater number of works compared to traditional methods. Paulo Freire, Vygotsky, Swanwick, and Ilari stand out as the most cited authors, revealing a dialogue with critical and sociocultural perspectives. The analysis allows us to identify both the presence of traces of coloniality
of knowledge — with Eurocentric approaches still persistent in some studies — and
movements of resistance and proposals for decolonial practices that seek to value local knowledge and diverse musical cultures. It is concluded that musical education has been increasingly valued in the training of undergraduate students, with efforts to deepen theoretical and methodological approaches that include inclusive, critical and contextualized approaches

Coro acadêmico da UEMA: um relato de experiência.

Título: Coro acadêmico da UEMA: um relato de experiência.
Abstact: This work presents an account of my experience conducting the Academic Choir of the State University of Maranhão (UEMA), developed over the years 2023 and 2024 as part of the activities of the Culture Scholarship. The study analyzes how the experience as a scholarship-conductor contributed to my musical, pedagogical, and human development, articulating theory and practice in an extension context. The experience allowed the development of musical skills related to vocal technique, repertoire preparation, conducting rehearsals, and understanding the interactions between the voices of the choir. In the educational and organizational context, processes of leadership, planning, group management, conflict resolution, and adaptation to the needs of the participants were experienced. The project involved two distinct groups, facing challenges such as irregular attendance by choir members, differences in musical experience, and difficulties in assimilating the repertoire. Nevertheless, progress was observed in musical perception, collective practice, participant engagement, and integration between the university and the community. The experience reinforces the role of the university choir as a space for holistic education, promoting technical development, artistic sensitivity, autonomy, responsibility, and social engagement. It is concluded that choral conducting is an essential practice in the training of music educators, providing experiences that broaden the understanding of teaching, the management of artistic processes, and cultural mediation
