Translação e reflexão do gráfico da função quadrática utilizando o GeoGebra em dispositivos móveis

Título: Translação e reflexão do gráfico da função quadrática utilizando o GeoGebra em dispositivos móveis
Abstact: The use of technological resources in the teaching of mathematics is a widely discussed topic
and is seen by many as inevitable, given the justification that their use enhances teaching and
learning. It has been observed that a significant proportion of students lack interest in learning
mathematics because they find it difficult, challenging teachers to try all possible technologies
and develop new teaching proposals to make this part of the curriculum more appealing to
students. The use of software, whether in computers or in mobile devices such as smartphones
and tablets, can be considered as one of these 'new' teaching proposals. This paper presents the
results of a study whose objective was to investigate the contributions of the GeoGebra
application on mobile devices to the process of understanding the graphical content of quadratic
functions in a first year high school class at the Centro de Ensino Professor Robson Campos
Martins, in Paço do Lumiar - MA, with the aim of verifying if there is a greater learning
outcome with the use of this software. Using a research-action methodology and a qualitativequantitative
method, data were collected and analysed. The instruments used for data collection
were questionnaires and activities using GeoGebra on mobile devices. At the end of the
research, students indicated that the use of the GeoGebra app on their smartphones greatly
facilitated their understanding of the study of quadratic function graphs, suggesting that its use
had a positive impact on the teaching-learning process.

Histórias em quadrinhos como proposta pedagógica para o ensino de geometria plana

Título: Histórias em quadrinhos como proposta pedagógica para o ensino de geometria plana
Abstact: We present a methodological proposal that can stimulate the reading and writing of multisemiotic texts involving mathematics, using digital tools and the free exercise of
critical sense, imagination, creativity, the ability to systematize and verbalize situations. We aimed to investigate how students in the 2nd and 3rd grades of High School learn Flat Geometry topics from reading and producing Comics. Data collection assumed a qualitative characteristic (CRESWELL, 2007) and, as the research proposes an evaluation of the teacher-researcher's own practice, it has an action research nature (PEREIRA, 1998). To support our research, we sought
references in previous academic works that dealt with this topic, giving emphasis, for
reasons of affinity with the master's program in which we are participating, to the dissertations produced in PROFMAT. In the research, we propose to structure a sequence of knowledge that involves the production of comics so that other teachers
can benefit from the use of this tool and enjoy the benefits it can provide to student
learning. The knowledge necessary for the production of comics has developed from researching and citing examples of comic strips involving mathematics that have already been published, through pointing out the essential elements that make up a comic, tips on free websites and platforms used to create comics, in addition to production. and analysis of several stories, some written by the researcher himself,
others produced by the students involved in the research. Flat Geometry content was
covered in the productions, such as: the nomenclature of polygons, inscribed and circumscribed polygons, the relationship between the diagonal and the area of the square, the Pythagorean Theorem, circle, circumference and height of the equilateral
triangle. As a result, we verified that the methodology proved to be very effective for
learning Flat Geometry and other content that we intend to teach, as it is something that attracts students' attention due to the innovative character it assumes,
intensifying interest and engagement. and providing the formation of positive attitudes in comic reading and writing activities - literary structures that, through the association of textual and pictorial elements, can be used to deal with the most varied themes due to the peculiar way they are produced, ensuring dynamism, fun and vivacity to the texts, facilitating readers' acceptance of mathematics, providing digital
literacy during productions and consolidating the significant construction of knowledge through the development of mathematical skills and the capacity for social
interaction.

O estudo da proporcionalidade e a relação com o desenvolvimento do raciocínio proporcional.

Título: O estudo da proporcionalidade e a relação com o desenvolvimento do raciocínio proporcional.
Abstact: This paper highlights proportionality in some points of history, such as the Rhind Papyrus and the Golden Ratio, its definition with the Fundamental Theorem of
Proportionality, and different ways of applying proportional reasoning to solve problem situations, such as the rule of three, reduction to unity, and application of the
Fundamental Theorem of Proportionality. We do not seek to define the best or most objective application here, but rather the development of proportional thinking, in addition to seeking a reflection on how proportionality has been worked on and how its
understanding can contribute to the development of concrete proportional reasoning, which is useful in so many other topics and areas of knowledge.
