Título: Vestígios judiciais e história local : o acervo do TJMA como recurso didático para o Ensino Médio Abstact: This thesis investigates the pedagogical potential of the collections held by the Arquivo do Tribunal de Justiça do Maranhão (TJMA) for History teaching in High School, as part of the Research Line Memory and Historical Knowledge. The central research problem lies in the observation that, despite the high historical and pedagogical value of judicial documents, their use in the classroom remains under-explored. In this sense, it seeks to answer how these traces can be didactically transposed for Local History teaching, aiming to promote critical historical learning. Methodologically, the work is anchored in qualitative research, of a bibliographic and documentary nature, based on the assumptions of Micro-history and the indiciary paradigm. The analysis focuses on three thematic axes extracted from judicial processes of the 19th and 20th centuries: the agency of Catarina Mina (slavery and freedom); the labor conflicts of the Ulen Company Case (labor and imperialism); and the political repression of Hilton Gregório (authoritarianism and the Estado Novo). As a result, the Educational Product entitled O Arquivo como Sala de Aula: Fontes judiciais para o ensino de História do Maranhão is presented, a digital sourcebook (e-book) organized into thematic dossiers. The material provides teachers with technical analysis tools and didactic strategies aimed at breaking with the passive reception of content, bringing the student closer to the materiality of the source and the agency of the subjects. It is concluded that the pedagogical mediation of local primary sources is capable of fostering historical consciousness and the right to memory, consolidating the judicial archive as an effective extension of the classroom.

Título: Entre silenciamentos, esquecimentos e memória: a participação dos indígenas Canela no Conflito de Alto Alegre segundo sua oralidade Abstact: This dissertation analyzes the participation of the Canela Indigenous people (Ramkokamekrá) in the Alto Alegre Conflict, which occurred in 1901 in the backlands of Maranhão, from the perspective of oral memory. Starting from a critique of the hegemonic and silencing narratives of regional historiography, the study investigates how the Canela construct and transmit their own versions of the conflict, opposing official discourses that either omit them or reduce their role to secondary characters. The work is structured into four chapters: the first presents the historical context and the interactions between the Timbira and Tupi peoples; the second discusses memory disputes and representations of the conflict; the third analyzes Canela selfrepresentations and the importance of orality as a historical source; the fourth proposes an educational product (an illustrated paradidactic book) aimed at teaching local history. The methodology is based on documental research, historiographical analysis, and interviews with Canela Indigenous individuals. The study reaffirms the centrality of Indigenous memory as a tool of resistance, identity, and political claim, contributing to a more pluralistic and historiography.

Título: A história e cultura afro-brasileira no Ensino de História em Santa Helena Abstact: History as an important field of teaching and research has the mission of improving the knowledge that occurs over time and that dimension society to think about the facts of the past in order to enlighten people's minds in the present. Education is a path that we believe is capable of breaking with certain attributes considered taboo by societies, so it is important to make the school a place of dialogue and motivator of knowledge. This dissertation is a yearning in the face of the changes we want to make in our society and the directions we want to take when we are willing to talk about such significant issues for our lives. Thus, this research consists of an exploratory analysis and documents and books that talk about the subject studied here. In the first chapter we will talk about the legal framework for the teaching of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture, where the social identity of black people will be discussed and, thus, bring some documents that guide the theme of the Teaching of Afro- Brazilian and African History and Culture. In the second chapter, a description of the city of Santa Helena will be made with a historical-cultural focus, bringing the geographical characteristics, foundation process, population, religion, education and Afro-Brazilian and African presence in the municipality. The intention of the third chapter is to analyze the History textbook used by the Santa Helena school system, and to build an analysis of the History contents in the student's 7th year book and in the teacher's manual, as well as to talk about the importance of local history.
