Abstact: This final paper is the result of an activity elaborated by the class of Graduate Course in
Technical Assistance for Urban and Rural Habitat of the Maranhão State University. In
August/2018, the class was invited to enter the reality of the villages of Santa Quitéria, Piqui
and Faixa and to provide technical assistance service to residents living in a reality of land
conflict. It has as a general objective the creation of a leaflet of easy understanding, to be
distributed to the population with the main data collected by a Mini-Census applied by the
class in May/2019. As specific objectives, the work aims to contextualize the reality of the
three communities and explain why the data presented in the leaflet.2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
