Título: Poesia no poder: a trajetória político-literária de Bandeira Tribuzi em São Luís nos anos 60 Abstact: This study aims to identify the existence of ideas, practices and discursive constructions present in the cultural and political scene in São Luís of Maranhão between 1961 and 1964, with the thread's performance Bandeira Tribuzi, character frequently engaged in the alliance between intellectual practices with political activities in the social, cultural and economic transformations in São Luís. The aim is to understand the size and reach of political activities of intellectuals and artists during this period by analyzing the discursive constructions they had about themselves. It also attempts to identify and understand the internai dynamics of the joints that ensured and still ensures prominent importance of certain characters in the history of São Luís do Maranhão, including Bandeira Tribuzi. This research is based on an extensive literature about the subject and in newspapers circulating in São Luís in the first four years of the 1960's
