Título: Práticas de mediação de leitura: uma análise a partir do projeto de extensão “leitura literária: proposta para dinamizar as aulas”
Abstact: Literature plays a fundamental role in the development of human intellectuality, contributing to the improvement of language, critical thinking, and reading and writing skills. Considering such contributions to the educational context, this monograph presents an analysis of the methodological practices carried out in the extension project “Literary Reading: A Proposal to Dynamize Classes,” developed between 2023 and 2025 with 7th-grade students at Unidade Integrada Presidente John Kennedy, in Caxias, Maranhão. The project was structured around the use of literary texts, with the aim of fostering students’ reading development. The activities were organized into biweekly workshops during the first year and weekly workshops thereafter, providing students with direct contact with different literary genres through interactive practices such as reading circles, writing activities, and playful tasks, which enabled engagement with regional, national, and international works. The theoretical framework supporting the proposal draws on authors such as Cosson (2011, 2015 and 2021), Resende (2003), Bosi (2002), Solé (1998), Frantz (2001), and Rocha (2014), among others. The results revealed significant improvements in students’ reading and writing competencies, evident in the textual productions developed throughout the project, which demonstrated greater cohesion, creativity, and depth literary interpretations.

Título: O Ultrarromantismo na Obra Miragem (1895) de Coelho Neto Sob o Olhar da Personagem Thadeu
Abstact: The research explores Ultraromanticism in the work Miragem (1895) by Coelho Neto, based on the character Thadeu, inserted in the context of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Coelho Neto's novel, although it presents realistic elements, also invests significantly in the historical chronicle and the life of the character. The study aims to deepen the analysis of the ultraromantic characteristics present in the work, contextualizing them with possible contemporary conflicts, such as psychological disorders and suicide, in today's society. The methodology used is bibliographic research, with critical analysis of fundamental academic sources, such as Alfredo Bosi (2000, 2015), Antonio Candido (2002), Carl Jung (1987) and Émile Durkheim (2014). Based on these theoretical studies and the analysis of the work from the perspective of Ultraromanticism, it not only broadens the understanding of the author's literary influences, but also offers insights into how narratives can explore sensitive themes in a meaningful way. The work, therefore, offers us a view of the historical and sociocultural context of its time and invites us to a broader reflection on the human condition

Título: Entre riso polêmica: desvendando os limites do humor nas piadas de Léo Lins e Mhel Marrer
Abstact: This paper analyzes the role of humor as a discursive element through the jokes of Léo Lins and Mhel Marrer, comedians who generate debates about morality and social sensitivity. Using Discourse Analysis (DA), a critical approach developed in the 1960s, the research investigates how humor goes beyond the formal structure of language to reveal its social and political functions. The study explores the interaction between laughter and mockery in the discursive strategies of Léo Lins and Mhel Marrer, examining how their controversial discourses provoke reflections on social norms and power relations (Morgado, 2008; Orlandi, 2015). The objective was to analyze humor as a discursive element in the jokes of these comedians, highlighting its characteristics and the manifestation of controversial discourse. The research focused on understanding the effects of controversial humorous language on the public and exploring the aspects of laughter and mockery. The discursive strategies employed were identified and discussed, highlighting their peculiarities. The methodology followed a structured sequence: selection and analysis of the corpus of controversial humorous discourses, survey of similar studies for contextualization, research of the theoretical framework to understand the discursive and social mechanisms of humor, description and analysis of the corpus to identify and discuss discursive strategies, and writing of the monograph to consolidate the findings. The results show that humor is a fertile field for discussing sensitive issues, with limits that vary according to the cultural and social context. The study highlights the importance of balancing freedom of expression with social impacts, suggesting future investigations on additional interactions, such as comments on jokes, to obtain a more complete view of the public's reactions
