    <summary type="text">Título: A importância da assessoria de comunicação nas instituições públicas: um diagnóstico da comunicação na Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (UEMA)
Abstact: The purpose of this abstract is to analyse the importance of a Communication and Press Office in Public Institutions, identifying some variables in UEMA (Maranhao State University). To develop this topic, a bibliographic, documented, descriptive and field research was used. The research starts with data obtention about the Higher Education in Brazil, its historical context, its new configurations and their academic organization.Secondly, the study focuses on the relevance of communication in this institutions, their&#xD;
image construction, their means of communication with the the environment, their main communication tools and then, on the communication consulting/assessorship, its history in Brazil, its related fields, its developed activities and the importance of a planning to the press/ communication office. Afterwards, we present the Maranhao State University (UEMA), its history, goals, principles, mission, function and importance to the local community. The final phase involves the analysis and diagnosis of communication in UEMA, based on a field research on its Press Office and the UemaNet and 'Darcy Ribeiro" Program Departments to finally present some possible variables, within a practice-theory related approach. The authors verified that it takes to&#xD;
open and spread more channels of communication and develop a plan, based on strategic communication actions</summary>

    <summary type="text">Título: Relevância do planejamento estratégico no terceiro setor: análise do instituto Atos
Abstact: This research aimed to analyze the relevance of the strategic planning in a third&#xD;
sector organization, through Atos Institute, by the verification of its history and&#xD;
observation of the changes occurred by the implementation of the strategic planning.&#xD;
Its relevance concentrates in the ascertainment that the third sector organizations&#xD;
require, as well as the first and second sector, of administrative direction to fulfill its&#xD;
purpose. For this reason, the methodology adopted in its achievement was a field&#xD;
research and bibliographical, case-study type, whose approach is descriptive and&#xD;
qualitative. The article was schematized in four chapters, reaching the conclusion&#xD;
that the strategic planning provided development to the institute, and, by this tool, for&#xD;
the first time, it was possible the comprehension of its social role, acquiring&#xD;
development perspective</summary>

Abstact: The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the real reasons for&#xD;
turnover and absenteeism in a hospital in the private network of São Luís - MA, and&#xD;
the impacts that such indices generate for the company, since human resources are&#xD;
extremely important factors for the smooth functioning of an organization. With the&#xD;
rapid changes and ever-increasing demands of the labor market, especially in the&#xD;
hospital environment, maintaining quality in customer service, attracting and retaining&#xD;
talent is a major challenge for the growth of any company. In this way, organizations&#xD;
must adopt strategies to retain talent, which means keeping those who deliver the&#xD;
best results and decreasing expenses related to the turnover of professionals in the&#xD;
company. People management nowadays is an obligation that establishes the&#xD;
success or failure of organizations, due to the importance of this sector, thus&#xD;
becoming a competitive differential for organizations. It is burdensome for the&#xD;
organization the excess of shortages and loss of talent, since they take with them the&#xD;
experience acquired during the work, that is, the company loses time, and the&#xD;
resources that were invested in this collaborator, besides expenses with the&#xD;
dismissal and the hiring of a new employee</summary>

    <summary type="text">Título: Privatização das pequenas empresas na cidade do interior do Maranhão
Abstact: Com el transcurso dei tiempo la soceidad brasilera se quedó a la espera de usufruir produtctos y servicios de calidad superior, producidos por las empresas brasileras, especialmente en función de la falta de tecnologia de punta que enfrentase los importados, que solamente algunos tenian acceso.&#xD;
Elaboramos este estudo sobre la privatización de las pequenas empresas, donde focalizamos los aspectos relacionados a los procedimientos que envuelven ese proceso, analizando sus consecuencias, tanto para las empresas como para la comunidad, constatando que la tecnologia implantada, introdujo nuevos padrones de calidad a los produtos que estaban satisfaciendo las exigências de los consumidores.&#xD;
En nuestro município, conforme demostraron las pesquisas, ese proceso fUe bastante positivo. La produtividad tuvo una escalada creciente consiguiendo altos pantamares, al punto de abastecer a los consumidores locales y de ciudades vecinas. En virtud de la diversidad de productos y servicios, huvo mayor opción para los consumidores. Los impactos causados en decorrência de esas transformaciones, abrazaram también la calidad de los productos y servicios que hoy, já están equiparados a los mejores dei mundo.&#xD;
Finalizando, enfatizamos la satisfacción de los clientes, evidenciada por la elevación dei consumo, concluindo que los objetivos primordiales foeron alcanzados.</summary>
