Abstact: The Portelinha Sensory Creativity Center: architectural sensory adaptation for people
with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) designed for São Luís do Maranhão, seeks to
understand in the universe of neuroarchitecture, the best environment for these
people with ASD, in order to develop guidelines for architectural projects that will
follow precepts of medicine and architecture for the development of projects. he main
objectives will be to understand the characteristics and needs of people with ASD; to
elect design guidelines based on the principles of neuroarchitecture; to develop a
project at the preliminary study level, bringing together characteristics such as
chromotherapy, lighting, acoustics and others, which directly influence the behavior
and perception of autistic people. The methodology adopted will have a qualitative
and exploratory focus in order to prove that it is possible to design a place for people
with ASD that is resolute regarding critical issues for these people, minimizing their
difficulties and fostering socialization and inclusion. The center will also be able to
offer people with ASD access to innovative treatments with proven results, or simply

Abstact: Neuroarchitecture can be defined by the combination of areas of study of architecture,
psychology and neuroscience, aiming to associate subjective feelings and sensations with
physical spaces and material elements. With this, in relation to projects, it seeks to focus on
elements such as: colors, natural lighting, furniture arrangement, shapes and textures, natural
elements and how these can influence well-being, can stimulate creativity and productivity and
improve the performance of some specific activity. Bringing this concept to a different space,
gyms are also environments in which the elements of neuroarchitecture can influence in a
positive way, aiming to improve the performance of the athletes. This work aims to analyze the
concepts of neuroarchitecture, in order to associate them with the best solutions to design a
space for the practice of CrossFit, aiming to improve the performance of athletes practicing this
modality. From a survey with students from different academies, the best elements and materials
necessary to make sports practice more effective will be defined.

Título: Centro Educacional Agrícola José Ribamar: proposta de estudo preliminar arquitetônico em São João Batista - Maranhão
Abstact: Family farming plays a central role in the economic and sociocultural dynamics of the municipality of São João Batista–MA; however, it faces limitations related to access to technical training, agricultural infrastructure, and productive qualification. Such conditions contribute to youth outmigration, reduce local competitiveness, and compromise the continuity of traditional agricultural practices. In this context,
architecture emerges as a strategic tool capable of articulating space, territorial identity, and education, contributing to the promotion of sustainable rural development. Therefore, this Final Undergraduate Project aims to propose a preliminary architectural study for an Agricultural Education Center focused on the technical training of family farmers, promoting the integration of traditional knowledge, technological innovation, and sustainable practices. Methodologically, the work adopts a qualitative approach of descriptive and exploratory nature, based on three main procedures: bibliographic research, analysis of architectural references, and contextual survey. The bibliographic research enabled the understanding of the role of family farming in Brazil, in the state of Maranhão, and in the municipality, as well as the relationship between architecture, earning environments, and sustainability. The analysis of reference projects made it possible to identify architectural solutions applicable to the rural context, while the
contextual survey supported the preliminary guidelines of the study. As a result, a preliminary architectural study of the José Ribamar Agricultural Education Center was developed, structured to meet local demands for technical training and productive capacity building. The proposal includes theoretical, practical, and community environments, prioritizing natural ventilation, environmental comfort, sustainability, territorial identity, and the integration between indoor and outdoor spaces. The project
reinforces the role of architecture in valuing family farming and in promoting training opportunities that may contribute to socioeconomic development and the permanence of youth in rural areas.

Título: Do caos à calmaria: arquitetura sensorial como resposta às demandas do estilo de vida contemporâneo
Abstact: This study investigates how architecture can serve as a tool to mitigate the negative effects of contemporary lifestyle on mental health. The research starts from the observation that a hyperconnected and accelerated daily life has contributed to rising levels of stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue, demanding new design approaches that prioritize emotional well-being. Based on principles from environmental psychology, neuroscience, and biophilic design, the proposal connects theory and practice through the development of an architectural project that serves as a conceptual guide for creating sensory spaces focused on introspection, relaxation, and reconnection with nature, with potential applicability in diverse urban contexts. The methodology is qualitative and exploratory,
combining literature review and field analysis applied to the context of São José de Ribamar (MA, Brazil). The findings indicate that elements such as natural light, vegetation, organic materials, tactile stimuli, and the enhancement of silence contribute to cognitive restoration, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of presence. The study concludes that architecture can play an active role in promoting mental health, provided it incorporates human sensory experience as a central element of the design process.
