Abstact: The Military Fire Department of the State of Maranhão - CBMMA has an important responsibility to protect the life and property of Maranhão society. Such a mission depends on the institution having the necessary equipment and personnel. Taking into account the current reality of the CBMMA, where the number of staff meets the needs of the population, there was a need to propose a plan that analyzes the applicability of
implementing the service of temporary military soldiers in the MARANHÃO MILITARY FIRE DEPARTMENT. Study a proposal on the incorporation of military firefighters on a temporary basis, taking into account the existing demands in the State of Maranhão. The methodology used was the bibliographical one. It is concluded, then, that taking into account the great demand that the state of Maranhão has in relation to the services
that there is a need for CBMMA to act, it is necessary to increase the number of employees of the institution

Abstact: The Military Fire Brigade of Maranhão – CBMMA – includes several attributions defined in the Basic Organization Law of 2015, where it lists in its article 2, item III, the exercise of the Fire Safety service; through studies, inspections, analyses, planning, inspection, and control of buildings; has the power to notify, embargo and fine enterprises. In this sense, exercise administrative police activity. Therefore, it is determined the creation and application of a directorate, in this aspect originates the Directorate of Technical
Activities - DAT - where it is an agency responsible for the planning, inspection and control of prevention activities in places of excessive human concentration, also responsible for inspections and technical opinions, with operational support and assistance from specific services and missions at the state level. This context is evidenced by the growth of the municipality of São Luís, resulting in an increase in
demands in the most varied sectors, whether of project analysis, as well as inspections for authorization of temporary events or the Certificate of Approval of any building on the island. This work consists of the expansion of the Integrated Database System and application of the Fire Safety Regulation of the entire state of Maranhão, where, through the application of a questionnaire to the military within the board, it was discussed what should contain a mobile application, since that DAT already uses

Abstact: The purpose of this abstract is to analyse the importance of a Communication and Press Office in Public Institutions, identifying some variables in UEMA (Maranhao State University). To develop this topic, a bibliographic, documented, descriptive and field research was used. The research starts with data obtention about the Higher Education in Brazil, its historical context, its new configurations and their academic organization.Secondly, the study focuses on the relevance of communication in this institutions, their
image construction, their means of communication with the the environment, their main communication tools and then, on the communication consulting/assessorship, its history in Brazil, its related fields, its developed activities and the importance of a planning to the press/ communication office. Afterwards, we present the Maranhao State University (UEMA), its history, goals, principles, mission, function and importance to the local community. The final phase involves the analysis and diagnosis of communication in UEMA, based on a field research on its Press Office and the UemaNet and 'Darcy Ribeiro" Program Departments to finally present some possible variables, within a practice-theory related approach. The authors verified that it takes to
open and spread more channels of communication and develop a plan, based on strategic communication actions

Título: Avaliação dos impactos ambientais através das respostas bioquímicas em ostras Crassostrea sp. (Bivalvia, Ostreidae) na baía de São José - Maranhão
Abstact: The responses of organisms as an environmental monitoring tool have been used by
organisms sensitive to changes that occur in the environment. Among the organisms
used as biomonitors, oysters stand out, which accumulate large amounts of
contaminants in their tissues. In this sense, this research aimed to determine the
physical-chemical parameters of seawater at three points in São José Bay,
Maranhão - Brazil, perform biometry of oysters of the genus Crassostrea, evaluate
the anthropic impact through the quantification of nitrites (NO2) and identify oyster
species through molecular analysis. For this, oysters of the genus Crassostrea were
collected in the dry season in October 2022 and the rainy season in March 2023 at
three points in São José Bay, point S1 (cultivation - Raposa), S2 (extractivism - Paço
do Lumiar) and S3 ( urban area- São José de Ribamar). During the time of each
collection (low tide), the physical-chemical parameters of the water were recorded at
all sampling points and compared with CONAMA Resolution No. 357/2005, 2 ml of
seawater was also collected at the three sampling points for NO2 quantification. The
nitrite present in the oysters' supernatant was analyzed indirectly through the Griess
reaction, which quantifies nitrites. For molecular analysis, DNA extraction techniques
using the saline protocol and the Polymerase Chain Reaction were used. Analyzes of
the physical-chemical parameters of seawater demonstrated that pH and
temperature remained within established limits, except during the rainy season in the
extractive area. The concentration of dissolved oxygen remained low at points S2
and S3. In the biometric analysis, it is possible to observe that oysters from
extractivism are smaller in all dimensions, especially in the rainy season. The result
of nitrite quantification in the oyster supernatant revealed significantly higher
concentrations in the extraction area (dry period 0.41 ± 0.7 mg/L and rainy period
0.28 ± 0.11 mg/L), showing that this area is the most impacted. Regarding molecular
identification, it was possible to observe a pattern of bands that correspond to
Crassostrea gasar and Crassostrea rhizophorae. Therefore, the results found
indicate that the quantification of nitrites is an innovative, simple, effective and lowcost
tool that can be used in environmental monitoring in addition to the physicalchemical
parameters of water and biometric analysis.
